Anna Pauline “Pauli” Murray was an American civil rights and women’s rights activist who became a lawyer. She didn’t stop there, in 1977, Pauli Murray became the first African American Queer woman to be ordained as an Episcopal priest. In 2012 she was elevated to be a Episcopal Saint.
